TNF Thoughts & Scrambling
Feel so good to be writing this email as another NFL season tonight kicks off tonight. As was the case last year, I’ll send a mid-week update that recaps content until that point, and will have the betting game-plan on Sundays.
Written:
Some bets and angles to consider for TNF.
Leveraging Tails Week 1 Bet on the mispriced Las Vegas Raiders
Podcast:
On the forecast we have some early SGP and live betting thoughts, and we discuss our “locks” of the week
Adding a new podcast on Matchbook where we discuss my favorite SB longshot and best bets for week 1.
I also wanted to share an article on what I call “true scrambles,” which is when a QB begins the process of scrambling whether that results in a run, pass, or sack. We touch on how that influences matchups, how it interacts with other position groups answering questions like: Can effective scrambles neutralize a good pass rush? Beat a good coverage unit? Do they require good offensive lines? We also discuss the trade-offs a scrambler faces and much much more. Again, here is the link to read.
As always, appreciate all the support and I’ll be back Sunday with a betting gameplan after we have watched some live 2023 games.
