I think when you have such a dominant run game it also makes short yardage way more worth it. Explosive plays that result in sacks or incompletions nullify much of the benefit of consistent runs. Short yardage high conversion play allows them to drive the ball very consistently. Will be interesting to see how teams adjust to the lack of explosiveness. Have to imagine defenses are going to start packing it in soon. May open up some of those explosive plays as the season progresses.
